Random Ideas Random Passion

Most often entrepreneurs get excited with new ideas and start chasing them with great passion to start off with. It appears to them that this is the "one great idea" that will make them big. Reality check throws a different picture and suddenly the passion level drops. This phenomena may happen several times and during the process the entrepreneur may stumble upon that "unique idea" that is worth pursuing. Even reality check is positive and then suddenly the initial euphoria turn into a strong desire to make it happen. After this the whole game is about relentless execution till the time success is found in this "unique idea".

The Fine Balance

An entrepreneur needs to develop a level of self belief that will wade him through the difficult path of the road less travelled. This self belief will be the driving force for being successful. At the same time, the entrepreneur needs to be careful that the self belief does not tress passes into becoming self arrogance where he or she starts believing that he or she knows it all and becomes self righteous. This is a fine balance which an entrepreneur has to maintain and make sure that in spite of having tremendous self belief; the self beliefs never converts into self arrogance.
Remember a tree with abundant fruits is always hanging down and vice-versa.

Managing Uncertainity

Most of the time our mind wanders into future and starts worrying about it by asking what will happen? will it happen? is something happening? when will it happen? and so on and so forth. It happens more with an entrepreneur as he is the one who has dived into an unknown territory and is faced with such questions round the clock. So the big question is that how does a entrepreneur deal with uncertainity and still remain positive and determined to take his or her venture forward.
The answer is quite simple  and yet difficult to implement. The way to do this is by "stop thinking" and " start acting". Simple isnt it? The difficult part is that the mind can't stop thinking otherwise it will have nothing to do.  So a practical solution will be to " think in the present moment". By doing so an entrepreneur will focus and act in the present moment where the real stuff is happening. Working in the present moment brings about momentum in the work place environment and this momentum build up the energy to move forward with courage and face the uncertain future without worrying too much about it.  This is one of the part of an entrepreneurs EQ.
